The 247 was an unarmed command or reconnaissance vehicle which was not designed for fighting.
It came in two versions, the Ausf A was six wheeled and built by Krupp, the Ausf B had four wheels and was built by Daimler Benz.
10 Ausf As were built and 58 Ausf Bs.
