The k2y was the ambulance version of the K2 and was a 3-ton truck. It was used by all Commonwealth countries during WWII and was produced between 1939 to 1945
The K2Y could carry 10 sitting casualties or 4 stretchers.
Famously, the future Queen Elizabeth was trained to drive one in the Auxiliary Territorial service.
