Model comes as two parts; vehicle & gun (resin)
The M16 was a derivative of the American M13 Multiple Gun motor carriage and was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun.
It was fitted with four .50 calibre (12.7 mm) M2 Browning machine guns in an M45 quadmount.
It was in service between 1943 and 1953. Some 3.550 were built which included M16s converted from M13s
Note: the anti aircraft gun can come with or without a fitted gunner

1/56th version: Very easy kit to put together, required little cleaning. The gun barrel is seperate and could be set to a lower trajectory (as in the famous film footage of the battle for Berlin). This is a nice wargame piece, very reasonable price - just need to find some 28mm gun crew now.
