Model comes as 5 parts; hull, tracks, turret & trailer.

The Crocodile was a variant of the Tank, Infantry, Mk VI (A22) Churchill Mark VII, and was adapted as a flamethrower vehicle.

It was in service in 1944 and 1945 and also saw action in the Korean War.

It had a crew of six; commander, gunner, driver, radio operator/loader, flamethrower gunner, co-driver/hull gunner. It had a 6.5 ton armoured trailer which carried 400 gallons of fuel as well as  gas propellant. There was enough fuel for 80 one-second bursts of flame.

The turret contained the main gun as well as the flamethrower so it could be operated as a normal tank with its QF 75mm gun.

Some 800 coversion kits were made and some were fitted to the Mk VIII Churchill also.

I bought this model and found it awesome. Detail was superb and assembled and painted so easily. unlike other resin vehicle's from other firms, the turret moves the trailer articulates. Highly recommended.

I custom ordered the trailer part of this kit in the 1/50 scale to go with a Corgi die-cast. They are pretty darned perfect. The scale is spot on, but more importantly, there was nothing for me to do, but glue the small number of parts together and paint. Garry had prepared them model by removing any supports before sending. I was expecting an fdm print to need filing or sanding. Yes there are minor strata lines, but they are so faint that frankly I don't think the effort to remove the faint trace is worth it. It would be much easier to do more harm than good.
