It was produced between 1941 and 1945 and some 15,000 standard M3s were built. There were over 20 different variants and over 38,000 of those were built.
It could carry a 0.50 calibre M2 Browning machine gun as well as a 0.30 calibre Browning M1919A4 machine gun.
This version has a non-removable canvas top.
