This model was in Japanese service from 1927 until 1945. It weighed around 2.5 tons and over 2,000 units were produced.
The gun is mounted on a central plinth with 5 supporting legs which were raised for transport.
It could fire 15 to 20 rounds per minute.
This version is has a horizontal barrel. There is also a version with an elevated barrel.
